SSo… Who Runs This Thing?
Good question.
This site isn’t backed by a chemical company or some pool-cleaning franchise with six vans and a jingle. It’s run by someone who’s owned a pool, fixed leaks on the weekend, dealt with cloudy water at the worst times, and decided it was worth sharing what actually works.
We’re not selling chemicals or pushing products. We’re just trying to help regular pool owners stop wasting time and money.
What We Actually Do
We write guides, tips, and borderline rants about pool stuff. Chemistry, equipment, seasonal maintenance — all the topics that either confuse people or get explained with too much jargon. Our goal is simple: make pool care make sense.
You’ll find content for beginners who just installed their first above-ground setup and seasoned owners who’ve battled every flavor of algae. If your pump’s making weird noises, we’ve probably written about it. If your water turned cloudy after shocking, we definitely have a fix for that.
Also, we test gear. From pool vacuums to test strips to pumps, we write honest takes so you’re not buying something useless.
What We Don’t Do
We don’t write fluff. We don’t pretend to be scientists. We don’t recommend products just because a company sent them for free.
And we definitely don’t do the whole “here’s a 27-step guide that never gets to the point” thing.
Who This Site Is For
If you’ve ever googled “why does my pool smell like feet” or “what happens if I shock too hard,” you belong here.
CareFree Pool Club is for people who want pool advice without the lecture. People who like their water clear, their weekends chill, and their content written like a real human made it — not a marketing team.
Still Lost?
Check out our Pool Chemistry Tips if you’re still trying to figure out what pH even means. Or if your pool looks more like a swamp than a hangout spot, start with our Opening and Closing Guides.
And if you want the official safety stuff, the CDC’s pool health tips aren’t bad either.
